A Meme for the Literary

Several different blogs I read (in the school/education area) have this meme, which I challenge my readers to do, too. I've always considered myself "well read," but this showed me I'm not as well read as I thought. I guess I enjoy the detective novels too much!

SO I have a lot to read to be well read I guess. Good thing I have read all of the Harry Potter books or I would really being hurting.

LOL! I've read 45/100 on this list and have a good handful on my bookshelf that haven't been touched yet that are on the list too!

Sadly, I can't remember whether or not I read some of these books. I did a lot of reading in high school and I've found that I can reread most of those books as if it were the first time I was reading them. I do try to re-read the classics when I get a chance but I don't find myself reading much anymore. Within the last year, I managed to re-read Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre. I've also started a few 'classics' that I couldn't get past the first few pages!

I just happened to notice that you "aren't interested" in reading Anne of Green Gables. Oh, this is SUCH a good book (and series for that matter).
