I'm laughing a little though because I do eat plenty of carbs, just not simple carbs, and I don't consider my way of eating to be a "grind" at all. Nowdays, when I cheat and eat a lot of sugar or other things super high in simple carbs, I feel so crummy that I'm happy to go back to my salads, beans, and protein. And I do think there are a lot of interesting things you can eat, even without sugar or potatoes (two of the main things I try to avoid, plus white flour.)
